Not very prolific in the blogging department. I'm sure I have opinions. I'm just having trouble recalling them right now.
There's a black and white kitten in my neighborhood. It seems to like my yard for some reason. Maybe because I have a dog it can torment. I have invisible fencing, but of course, that just keeps the dog in, doesn't keep the cat out! Interestingly enough, the cat has figured out that when it sits just outside the edge of the yard, the dog won't be able to get to it. Of course, then I have to listen to the dog bark. and bark. and bark. do cats laugh, do you think? I think they have a sense of humor. or maybe they are just sadistic.
my elderly mother (she's not going to see this blog, is she?) voted today 'absentee'. she meant to vote for Obama, but she voted for McCain, she said because she voted straight Republican by mistake. i hate to tell her (so i won't) that she really didn't vote for McCain either, because here you have to vote for President separate from the straight party vote. please don't let my mother read this.

are we there yet?
It has been a long campaign. And it's not over yet. Can we please vote already? Don't call me to ask who i'm voting for. I won't tell you. It's a 'secret' ballot. That means I don't have to tell anyone. Especially some stranger that calls me out of nowhere and interrupts the last 5 minutes of that special program that I've been dying to see so I could find out the solution to the mystery...but noooo. Now I will go to my grave not knowing...
